First Impressions/ Got the Game

First impressions are good so far. Good graphics, good atmosphere around the market, the combat is pretty cool and fun. You're right, it's very much like Batman combat, only in kung-fu form.

I've just got to the point where i can view my map, so im guessing i can free roam now. Should get a lot better from here!

Also delighted at the fact we can play custom music through XMB Going to make an epic soundtrack

The only downside to this game seems to be that there is no co-op and/or join in the game, which would make me give it 5 stars, but maybe in Sleeping Dogs 2 or future DLC for this game maybe?

I am loving the game so far. The hand to handle combat whilst great, it isn't where I thought it should be, BUT I haven't unlock all the upgrades, so we'll see. But over all it's a pretty awesome game. And like Scott, I dont like the driving....takes a lot of getting used to. =/

Loving the game, though i dont like the handling of Motorbikes. Some cars seem daft as well, as well as doing a 180 burnout in less than a second.

Apart from that i'm loving it. Though there doesn't seem to be many people round the streets which is bummer. Everything else is Amazing.





The developers have alot to learn about certain aspects of sandbox/free roaming games but in a few Sleeping Dogs games time, it will be a real contender againt GTA.

combat...wicked! storyline.... so far so good! environment....*bleep*ing awesome(marketplace was well done) !
my only disappointment so far is the way they have cut corners on the driving,
i was trying to know the lead character ( wen chui or something like that) off his bike for about an hour last nite an he wud not come off!
now i didnt really care much for the over realism of GTA but i do like the aspect of crashing your vehicle
hopefully this will be somefing they will sort for number 2 but i wont let it ruin this wicked game

Well, smarti3, the map is an ok size. If you get it up, it doesn't look that big but i think it is.

I've done like 10 missions and according to my stats i've done 30% of th story.

And yes, definitely a buy.

From the reviews this game sounds pretty good, funny story for me I had only heard of this game within the last few days when I saw it advertise on TV lol.

From what I've read it looks like a GTA type game, is there free roaming? And would it be worth the money since this time of year is when my bank balance goes down the shitter lol, not to mention Transformers: Fall of Cybertron comes out next week, so I might have to wait until this game comes down in price.
