They say its the game saints row has spent decade to desperate to be. This just strengthens my desire to buy this game when it comes out. Good to read that - I was anticipating that too, as I stated on here: quote me, in the general discussion thread I think It's going to be a really fun game to play, not only because it looks fun in videos and from what I've heard about it, but also because of the previous games square enix have worked on. The batman games, final fantasy, the COD series, the bond games, just cause, dead island, deus ex, and more. The reason I think it'll be a quality game, is because it seems to include elements that square enix are good at. Free roam world? They did that pretty well in arkham city, and dead island. The shooting should definitely be up to scratch too considering they developed cod, bond, deus ex, and they had a good variety (and good use of) gadgets in deus ex and batman, which I think they'll also use in sleeping dogs after seeing you can hack cameras. Awesome they gave it 9/10, the trailer looks good and everything sounds good but you can never really tell what it's really like. Can't wait

	From memory, I thought there was some sort of online features/leader board? thought I saw from one of the video...I'll have to check it again. Online is exactly the same as single player, but allows 3 more people. GTA allows it too, etc

	Those reviews are for console versions right? I'm VERY impressed with the PC version so far. Well optimized, along with a PC-exclusive hi-res texture pack. The game looks gorgeous and runs very smooth, even on my dated video card. I don't really see the Saints Row elements tbh. Just from the vids I've seen I think that saying this is the game SR has tried to be is such a stupid thing to think. How is a serious game supposed to be what a stupid (I mean that in a good way) over the top game has always tried to be? What is it because they are both sandbox? SR is for running around gunning people down while being as funny and as stupid as possible, SD is for beating up people with great combat while also shooting people. SR is the over the top GTA style sandbox game while SD is the more serious GTAIV/fighting game sandbox game. ------------------- Life is a privilege and you don't deserve it!

You can beat anyone up, swim, pick up different weapons to use and use the environment during fights, do little things like play gambling mini games etc. Great kung fu combat which is the main focus of the game really, so its different to GTA and saints row. You unlock more moves and upgrades. Customise the way you look by going shopping. But it isn't stupid like saints row. Although, I did have fun smacking people with fish and an umbrella.
