1. Find good upgrades combination for your style. For me it is Mark Target or Dash plus upgrades for them. Also EMP BLinders are realy cool.
2. Make sure your dodging and aiming skills are at good level. Couple times I killed leader, scientist and solider with overshields and warcry at once with jumping, hiting with sword and shooting with sniper rifle at close distance.
3. If you like risk and fun then charge at grou of enemies and take them all down. When I`m at killig fourth or five Decepticon in a row in about teen seconds I feel realy good. But if you dont take the adventage by using 'hit & run' strategy. Play like you had only one life and decide that engage is worth of lose it. Hit your oponent, slow him down him then run. Make trap behind nearest corner, use snipers and dash, use your granades, pick up stronger weapons form your enemies.
4. Basicly if I cant kill something almost instantly I run. When I see leader on warcry I run. When solider is launching tornado of hammers I throw granade, converting to car, drive back and shooting at him. Be swift and stealthy. Dont rish until its worth it.
