Is there a way to save once you are in the checkerboard? I get through the first two levels and kill the knight twice, but by that time I've run out of life. Any hints? My kids are getting tired of watching me die !!:

You should be able to save on entering the room.
Can you save after each hit on the Knight?
Keep trying, stick to the patterns, and dont get hit

There are greater challenges ahead.

Hi there. This is a frustrating part - u have to practice jumping very precisely. There are three boards to get through - the final one being red. U have to get within jumping distance of the big figure wivout being swiped wiv his sword! If you make a quick jump and hit wiv ur sword he will vanish in a puff of smoke rtn u to the start of the next board. U will need to drink ur red flask to get thru all the way. Good luck.
