Regenerating Necro is BAAAD!!!!

Alright, I'm in chapter 14, I've countered regenerating necromorph twice.
First when you have to hack the door open then in the hall where you need to take the dead body and scan it near the door.
Now the baaad part. I only have around 25 ammo of pulse rifle and no med packs or stasis pack, just one shot of stasis and no old saved games. I know I'm screwed. But still if there's a way to out, then please please comment!!

i run, but eventually i come across a right turn, i can handle thier pretty well, but the regenerating one keeps foolowing me!! do i have to do something to stop him from chasing me or is it the visceral's evil mind while making the game.

Should i sell the javelin gun and the line gun? This is my weapon inventory - Plasma Cutter, Pulse rifle, line gun, javelin, should i change my inventory?

when I first came to the regenerator - I panicked. Fired off most of my ammo before realizing he wasn't gonna die. I try to shoot his arms and legs off then blast him with stasis while I run away. Slows him down long enough to reach the store down the line. I'm just glad they waited till the end to bring him to life!

Ran into him at the end. That sucker is fricking annoying. I went in with like 7 med packs and used them all halfway through. I got killed twice before i decided to use stasis while regenerates. after that things got a little easier since i'm very selective with stasis.
Seriously, i hardly ever use it. But after that encounter i fully upgraded the module. 5 shots of stasis without having to refill is a good deal. the best weapon to use when slowing him down is the force gun or ripper. i'd use force gun's ALT fire on his face then the ripper on his other limbs. After that just use stasis on the remains and book it through the level.

It is possible to kill him. Just the force gun to push him into the giant fan towards the end of the chase.
