What do you NOT LIKE in Dead Space 2? - Page 2

I believe you mean, " What do you DISLIKE in Dead Space 2? "

I dislike the fact that 85% of the xbox 360 community doesn't seem to want to use a microphone for this game, and for the 15% that do, they're always in a party chat!

I dislike how the higher levels always have a greater advantage over the lower levels, games like Halo and Gears of War didn't have that.

I dislike how I am not very interested in the story mode... I just get so frustrated when I keep dieing and I only get as far as one extra chapter a day...

That's about all I can think of .

1. I'm just saying that the subject is not grammatically correct. What do you dislike abut Dead Space 2 looks and sounds better than what do you not like.

2. The story is interesting, and I love having the very many OH SHIT moments and stuff, but I find this game's story to drain me of my energy and I get too tired to continue on after a while ha. Once I beat it I'll be a happy camper, I assure you.

The lasers on the guns.
Sounds stupid, but your reticule is always the same, no matter how close up or far away your aiming.
When I noticed it, it started to reall annoy me.

I also wasn't too fond of how linear it was.
Not that every game has to be non-linear, and for the most part Dead Space was.
But in the first game you had sort of a 'home base' in every level that you could backtrack to for a store or workbench.
Because it's so linear in DS2, you really can't backtrack too much, so you visit stores and workbenches much less.

Also, the characters weren't all that impressive.
There just wasn't enough of an emotional connection to anyone for me to care if they lived or died.
In Dead Space, you at least felt bad for Hammond when he got his leg ripped off and tossed to the side like he was nothing. It left you with an "Oh crap, now I'm really screwed" feeling.

There also wasn't a connection with the main "bad guy".
You were betrayed by Kendra in the first one, who started out as your friend, and was your only connection to a living human on the ship. So you were rightly pissed off and wanted to kill her.

Tiedemann is just some random guy you don't know. You see him a few times on monitors, but there's really no reason for him, so you don't care at all when you kill him.

All in all though, DS2 is still a great game.

I don't really get what you're saying. Are you trying to say that it was more action-intense and less atmospheric, and therefore less enjoyable? According to the general definition of the survival horror genre, it's about having the odds stacked against you with a limited arsenal at your own fingertips. So having to kill a load of creatures wouldn't change the genre (I'm assuming that's why you're criticising it for "becoming a shooter"), only if you had a undeniable advantage, which would therefore severely lessen the severity of the situation at hand. I haven't played this game yet, so I can't discuss what the end is like.

... The only thing i really "HATE" is in Multi , the Necro-players seem to always "Execute".

I spawn, walk 2 feet, and have an angry midget flailing in my face while his "friends" shank my shins. Why you can "execute" a human player at full health is *bleep*ing annoying, due to above reason.

I cant fight back and I just die, and NO team mate cares at all.

Leapers seriously take the piss, they move so fast and if they manage to hit you they always strike twice, once with its arm and then immediately with the tail.
