i did the same thing. if you equip the dawn shard to your party leader and use the stone you will get teleported to the other end of the Ward of the Sword-King, and you wont have to Fight him yet.

I was worried about the same thing. lol

Also, STEAL FROM THE GHASTS if you're sufficiently leveled. This trick worked awesome for me. Here's what I did: First, equip one of your characters with the Thief's Cuffs. Also, you have to modify the gambit setup from Page 1 a little.. (*) indicates a change.

Character 1 (Party Leader):

Ally: Any - Raise
Ally: HP < 60% - Curaga
Ally: Any - Smelling Salts
Ally: Any - Esuna
Ally: Party Leader - Remedy
Foe: HP < 3,000 - Attack
Foe: HP > 10,000 - Haste
*AllyCharacter 2) - Haste*
Self - Charge


Character 2: *W/ THIEF'S CUFFS*

Ally: Any - Raise
Ally: HP < 60% - Curaga
Ally: Any - Smelling Salts
Ally: Any - Esuna
Ally: Party Leader - Remedy
Self - Decoy
*Foe: HP=100% - Steal*
Foe: HP < 3,000 - Attack
Self - Charge


Character 3:

Ally: Any - Raise
Ally: HP < 60% - Curaga
Ally: Any - Smelling Salts
Ally: Any - Esuna
Ally: Party Leader - Remedy
Self - Decoy
Foe: HP < 3,000 - Attack
Self – Charge

So now, all you have to do is take one lil hack at Negalmuur in the beginning, and your "Character 2" will instantly steal from every ghast that spawns. It helps putting battle speed to the fastest setting too.

Let's put it this way.. IN JUST OVER 6 HOURS, I HAD 74 PARAMINA CROSSBOWS TO SELL ALONG WITH THE DARK MAGICITE AND FESTERING FLESH!!!!

*EXTRA Just for the records.. and for those who like numbers

Who: just reached lvl 37 Balthier, Penelo
Fran (last two with all the top of the licence boart completed)
Weapon/Armor: 3 Deathbrigers, 3 Golden Shield, custom armors
From: level 37 (just reached) to level 52
Time: from 9:24pm to 5:52am (next day)
Accs: Bublebelt on main party, no embroidery tipet, golden amulet on second party. (about 3500+ LP's with golden amulet)
Misc: this time the "cast HASTE on nelgamuur" work and just make me gain 1 more level than the last night.
Items: Again 99 teleport stones, 99 festerin flesh, 99 dark magicte. I enter the fight with 99 remedies, there wer 80 left after i finish the loop. (22 less than last night so it may vary the utilization of remedies.)

You can spawn him again even if you leave the Stilshrine and progress through the story-line, but you'd have to wait 30 minutes to spawn him again. He'll disappear if you go more than 2 maps out.

Did someone ask that he killed the rare game. No problem since rare game respawns except for those that drops trophy (the one with the Phon Cost Hunt Club).

Are your characters over level 30 EXDEATH?


Has anyone found any other auto-leveling tricks aside from this one?

Well, The First time I went to Stilshrine of Miriam(WHENEVER IT CAME UP IN THE STORY LINE) I Probably Was Barely at level 30(Maybe around 20-25) And Negalmuur appeared (along with a few blood gigas) In Ward of The Sword King. I Just figured he was a regular enemy and tried to kill him, but he ended up killing me. I Haven't been to the Stilshrine since it was apart of the story and thats why i figured he would kill the party.
