The hosts are the same, I just changed the location of the file to the non-watermarked version, but now that I think about it, you were right. Thanks for the advice, greatly appreciated

If I'm a new member or even a guest to a forum, I really don't expect myself to look at a 100+ page history to see if my question was answered. I'd just create a new thread about it and ask my question and hope for a swift reply. Now if I don't expect myself to read previous threads created to see if they answer my question, I really can't ask the same of newer members and guests.
The reason for the Thread Index is so that it can act as a repository of knowledge, that way when a new member asks for help regarding something that we've already explained in much detail, we can answer their question, and direct them to the thread index, so in the future they don't really have to do much searching as we basically let them know that the main topics are in a central place. Duplicate threads are inevitable, and theres nothing wrong with them, as long as we help them and then redirect them, the newer guests and/or members will be thankful and will stay at Neoseeker. We don't want to make them run away from this forum because we are too strict about duplicate threads, yet we don't want to create an air of "do what ever you want" as is the case with some other forums *cough*GameFAQ's*cough*. Redirecting people but also answering their questions keeps us from being too strict and too soft, and in my opinion is the best way to keep a forum. Treat others, how you'd like to be treated  | |
