MIST SHORTAGE newbie Qs

Hi,
i LOVE this gambit system. just amazing fun! However i face a problem that gets tiring. here it is:

(mind you, i m lvl 20 or so)

I Battle mosters, so i lose HP.
I want to stay alive, so i want to use POTION, OR CURE or REGENERATION or FIRST AID.

problems : First aid comes too late sometimes.
- Potions run out
- Cure and regenetaion cost too much MAGICK/MIST.

NO PROBLEM i think! because i have CHARGE SKILL, so i can get more and more MIST or MAGICK..... So i can cure and regenerate all i like. BUT BUT BUT : i dont have the gambit that lets me taget myself and let me chage if i reach <x%-magic.... so now what?????

does this really means i have to open my menu and select TECHNICS and select CHARGE E-V-E-R-Y-T-I-M-E i need 20 more MP ?!?!?

Please inform me:
When do i get the gambit that allows me to use CHARGE in a proper way.
OR
please inform me:
Is there another sollution to either the problem that i run out pf mana, or is there a contant way of recharging my HP without having to cary 99-potions all the time?!?!?!

Thanks alot!!
help would be grealy apreciated!!
Joris

Hold the analogue sticks in opposite directions to run in a circle. When you move, your MP regenerates.

Get the Martyr and Inquisitor augments, and you shouldn't have that problem anymore.

re: MIST SHORTAGE newbie Qs

hmmmmmm thanks !

but i just dont feel like running around all thetime, thats about as lame as pressing the CHARGE buttun manually all the time

and those 2 skills that are to boost my MP are nowhere near enough to keep my MP-needs happy

i ll just have to wait for "self: mp<20%" gambit i guess

Seriously though, what do you need all that MP for? It should be enough if you just want to heal.

re: MIST SHORTAGE newbie Qs

I recommend getting your quickenings quickly.

Each time you get a new one, a new extension is added to your MP, which is the same as your original amount. By the time you have 3 quickenings, one MP point will count for three.

I managed to get all of mine by the time I reached Belias.

It will break any combo chain you have going, but as soon as you touch a save point you get all HP and MP back - useful for a quick recharge.

thanks guys, with the right augments and the qiuckenings i actually got it going now yea... its a matter of dealing enough damage and all,... thing is, i want to have regeneration and protection running non-stop.... also solve all my status problems with magic,.. i will slowly run out still, but not fast enough to worry about

If you want protect, I would recommend having it only on your party leader, who should also be your tank (enemies will generally go for whoever is in front, i.e. party leader). Regen sounds nice but it's not really worth it to keep it on all the time. I pretty much only had Esuna and Cure/a/aga gambits on for magic and it works fine. If you are in a particular area where you always seem to get a certain status effect (like Blind, Silence, or Poison), I would recommend putting that status-curing gambit above Esuna just to save a bit of MP.

re: MIST SHORTAGE newbie Qs

the mp gambit you want to set up won't be available to you for quite some time. nothing wrong with manually charging, i do it all the time and it saves you a gambit slot.

and tournesol gave you probably the best advice here in getting all 3 quickenings for your character(s) asap. gives you a mega max mp boost.

re: MIST SHORTAGE newbie Qs

I dont get this problem, im about the same level as you are(early 20s) and my controller is really old so the analog stick locks, i just make it lock into a position that will make me run in circles, go do something else and when i cum back...BAM!... full MP

Do you understand how long that takes at this point in the game!

re: MIST SHORTAGE newbie Qs

well ... i do have a job and a partner and 4 pets.... my point is, i can game maybe 2 hours in the evening, i dont wanna spend my time running in circels

well. i consider this topic closed (since i started it i guess i m entitled to do so hehe, ) but just 1 more question that has nothing todo with the previous.

i played without any walkthru help so far, but now i wanna get a mark, that 2nd level 2 mark, well, its on the plains, and i have to kill some beats that attack the cockatrices or something, first i should talk to SADEEM (or whats his name) in the rain, but all he says is "..." cant get him to talk! whats this quest about? i googled it, and then it said sometrhing about a Ring that i have to return to him, but REALLY must have missed that part somewhere. hmmm what to do with this strange fellow? or the 2nd lvl2 mark..

well the guy was a ghost... the croakadile he was talking about.. you can find it only when its raining i dont remember that it was suppose to be a hard rain like with the Gil Snapper..anyway You will find it down in STARFALL FIELD near the bridge. just press select and find a field with that name. after you're done go to sadeen and get your price! this will lead to another quest you have to bring it back to her "fiancée" or wife...he will tell you that he senses her near..but dont bother yourself going all over the field AGAIN(like what i did) you have to wait till the Rain stops and the field goes back to its "Dry" season and go to the village where you got the sun stone.. you will notice a elder lady in the middle of the village talk to her...she was the "fiancée/wife" of sadeen
