Yiazmat W T FAIL?

Ok. I fought yiazmat. its a breeze. get him to 1/2 health. gets a little tougher. then, all of a sudden, WHA-BAM! HP Critical. got excited, then i realized his full potential. "15 hit combo! Vaan dies." WTF. (Btw, when he combos it looks likes hes humping you or something ")
Ok, so when hes at his last bar, and that bar is at 1/2, i used a quickening to finish him off. i landed the black hole one. hes like 3 hits away from death. I hit him 3 times. Dead. ".......Thats it?"

WTF. Everyone else makes him out to be the biggest and baddest pain in the ass in the history of gaming or w/e. I found him relatively easy. BEHEMOTH KING was more of a challenge then him. Did i miss something? heres what he did.

Stage 1: My first fight. really scared. get him down to like 3/4 life. death isent a problem, cuz right now a berserked Vaan's beatin the living hell out of yiazmat (whos been exposed) With a masamune and genji gloves, scoring 9999 each hit, getting 4 hits + each command. in no time flat, hes at 1/2. things get hectic, cuz i forgot to windbreak a cyclone. i run to a save crystal.

Stage 2: I come back, with new equipment and items. He starts using death strike. Still nothing to worry 'bout.
hes at 1/4 now. im thinking "Damn. this is too easy.." It only takes a couple more hits to find out yiazmats potential.

HP CRITICAL! (stage 2 still)
He stops using the breaths, combo's death strike, he stopped using rake, too. his normal attack does 2200 per attack with protect, 3700+ without. the normal attack also chains up to 15 hits. Things get hectic. Cyclone does 7000+ even WITH windbreaker. I go to the save crystal again. he has 2 bars left. i just got a GREAT idea.

Stages 3,4,5,6,7,8,9, and 10.

Final eclipsing the living hell out of yiazmat. Quickening. Black hole. 3 hits. Done. owned. "Yiazmat has been vanquished." buh-bye, god's Assassin. ".......Wait. theres gotta be more." *rushes to montblanc* Ok. lotsa moogles. They keep saying "TY TY." I get godslayer badge and... 50k? (WTF. THATS IT?!)
Umm. Im done? I know ive got omega to deal with, but thats it, right? Yiazmat was pathetic. BEHEMOTH KING was harder then him. The paling was absolute BS, plus getting him to spawn. Yiazmat is waiting to get owned. Why is everyone making a big deal out of him? I had vaan and fran at lv 99, with penelo at 98. i didnt even USE grand armor. Im all confused, disapointed, and relieved. Thats what he was supposed to do, right? Should i go after omega, now that ive defeated yizzy? Or, was i just waaaaayyy too strong?

When it comes to Yiazmat, I find him to be very easy and predictable, people make him out to be the toughest boss while actually, the only reason people see him that way is because of his life bars. Personally, I thought Omega Mark XII was a bit harder because of the fast paced battle and even Fafnir was a bit harder(only because I fought him at level thirty with crappy gear).

I never saw him hard.
I just got annoyed sitting there, fighting him.

That's why I set the nearly perfect set of gambits, that way, I could make some nachos and do my homework and clean my swords all at the same time, it sucks though when he's crtitical because then I gotta friggin go and start playing again.

The games you actually have to play are the worst kind, aren't they?

I pretty muchly did the same as Raver; just went and attacked.

I think Squee did that to see which of us idiots would actually fight him.



And yet.....

I never beat Yiazmat (Though his life bars have earned my eternal Ire) so I don't know what you get after it.

And would it be considered cheating if one used a gameshark for infinite life if only to ignore some gambits in favor of others?

All I can say to future challengers of Yiazmat, it's not worth spending all those hours on him unless you want the Wyrmhero blade, the only reason I like to fight Yiazmat is because it freaks out my little brother and I like showing that oversized lizard who's the boss.
