You must mean something else...oversoul exists in FFX-2 and it is something that possess fiends making them stronger...

well, i am tryin to get the tournesol weapon, and i am a long ways away. and i am now looking for the "Soul of Thamasa". and i looked at a website, and said to go look for an oversoul... so... it has to be ffxii.

True..you have to be careful as it's very easy to accidently kill vorres and then you have to try the other route...

that's not necessarily true. getting some soul's of thamasa to make high arcana at the bazaar isn't the only way. there are several times in the game you have gotten high arcana as rewards (defeating 4 espers, reaching 'paragon of justice' rank, and i think as reward for a hunt but i can't remember for sure) however i'm assuming you've long since sold those, which brings us to here. still however, you can get a high arcana by stealing from any esper. if you haven't defeated them all already just search the remaining ones and reset your fights until you pilfer a high arcana.

and remember, if you sell the ingredients for the empyreal soul and the serpentarius at the same time you need to only sell 1 high arcana to get the two items. that means you only need 3 high arcanas in total to get a tournesol.

hey, i have already beat all the espers. and i sold all of the high arcanas that you get from hunts.....

well, thats my problem i cant get any soul's of thamasa. i have tried for hours
