Ultimate Weapon Distribution

Who do you prefer to give each of the Ultimate/Powerful weapons too.

Vaan - Tournesol/Durandal/Masamune/Zodiac Spear
Balthier - Fomalhaut
Fran - Artemis Bow/Zodiac Spear
Basch - Tournesol/Durandal/Masamune/Zodiac Spear Whatever Vaan isn't using
Ashe - Zodiac Spear

Coolest Looking Weapon: Ragnarok
First Ultimate Weapon Aquired: Fomalhaut

Did I say the first that you can possibly get? No, I said the first one I got. I got it in Cerobbi which is the first place you can get the Fomalhaut I think.

Here's how I do it, but it's just my preferance.

Fran » Saggitarius.
Vaan » Durandal and Zodiac Escutheon or Tournesol.
Ashe » Masamune with Genji Gloves.
Basch » Zodiac Spear.
Penelo » Zwill Crossblade with Zodiac Escutheon.

I might give Ashe Greatswords, and Penelo Katanas, but she looks funny with them. I'll probably do it anyway.

Vaan - Zodiac Spear
Basch - Ultima Blade/Excalibur
Fran - Saggitarius Bow
Baltheir - Fomalhaut (I never use him but when I do, Ill give him the strongest weapon not in use)
Ashe - Masamune
Penelo - Duradandal

I use the ZE with Penelo usually. Somehow, I just dont see how a sorta heart shaped sheild looks right with the guys.
I also usually try to stay away from giving characters weapons that they attack funny with. Like giving a spear to Baltheir...just looks wrong. On that note, Ashe looks a bit funny using the Masamune as well

limber, didn't you just give all of your haracters Z-spears? you have 9 of them right?!

Most people hate them because of the random damage they produce. And if you give anybody Haste + Berserk + Bravery, basically any weapon is a beast.

Eh, I like em. I'll equip my whole party with Axes, Hammers, and Hand Bombs just for the random fun factor.
On a more practical note the Scorpion Tail is the first Ultimate weapon you can get and having it early is nice. Both Axes and Hammers still allow shields and that is nice from time to time also. Equip an Aegis shield and an Axe/Hammer to take out Magic heavy foes like magic pots. They have their uses.
