We are fighting Judge Bergan, and with quickenings, we get him down to HP critical, but we just can't get him down no matter how much we attack him. Is this because we need to equip the sword of Kings? It really sucks, cause it only has 30 attack.

You should just equip a stronger weapon. Make sure to Niho + Rememdy him and you'll be fine.

We have waaayyyyy too much money, so we practically bought every single weapon there is. Believe me, it is not that. Do need to equip the sword of kings, though?

That was the hardest battle for me in the whole game.

You need to have high defense. Since you don't have Larsa anymore, it's crazy to go to the feywood and get mirror mails, So I suggest HP augments, and shield augments.

Oh...and you don't need to equip it...in fact, avoid it. LOL

Poison, slow, blind, silence... anything you can throw at him. Really good shields and weapons that have evasion bonuses (like Main Gauche) help a lot. I would save the Quickening for when he gets HP Critical, because that's when he starts to combo-attack a lot more.

What levels are you?
I found it quite easy, and i was lv. 31/32.

I was level 27! I just beat it. The funny thing is, we summoned mateus and he died, but we summoned Belias, and that finished him off. But maybe that was because when mateus was here there was still a judge left and he killed basch.

wait, is this at bur omisance? If so just throw Stop on him and the battle is won. Have a mage step back with an elemental staff and throw the -a spells at him until he quits.

I'm almost 100% sure it doesn't work on Bergan. It's too cheap, as it stops all actions. I think he means Immobolize.

If I recall correctly Immobolize does work, which make him cake. Have some Fomalhauts and a Sagittarius equiped and just attack. He can't cause any damage.

You just need decent equipment. Saggitarius can only be gotten after Bergan I think, but I believe there's a glitch around it. Not positive though.

Fomalhauts are really easy to get to. Look at the videos.
