WOW!!!!!! I dont think I can get him........ lvl 27 lvl23 lvl23 lvl 26 lol!!! Are there any other good monsters i can get? im on the first dhoulmagus battle.....

It depends what rank you're at, but Potbelly, Goldman and Brickman are great for the lower ranks.

Rank B...... My monsters are stronger than me!!! What happens if they kill you in fighting them? Does it count as a death? Ill be on in a while c ya...

The best way to beat him is to beef up your defense with Kabuff. Accelarate so your faster then him so you can heal effectively. Then lower his defense with Sap as well as putting him to sleep often. Dream Blade and Angelo's sleep arrow do well in both attacking him and putting him to sleep. When you lower his defense (two times preferred) or get in trouble call your monster team in to do some damage. Best to beat a Gold Bricker first so you can have him in your team (he often does a desperate attack that will hurt him for 150 or more, depends on how low you sapped him for). Axe Raptor, Jargon or the Minic Chest are other good monsters to use against him as they deliver high damage (if they are using useless attacks like throwing sand or flame breath >_<. Just consistently weaken him, you will get killed sometimes but just keep Angelo alive to revive (or if your leveled up high enough for the hero to have revive too, but if your that high then you shouldn't need to) fallen allies.

If you fight him the second you get your ship like I did lol then you will need a little luck and hope he focuses on your Hero and Yangus.

I have no idea. When I got to this part, knowing how hard he would be, before I started my level up I just cleared the dark ruins, so when I came back there I wouldnt have to do anything but to walk. Try clearing that place then you save, and if you're defeated by doulmagus, you can just load and wont risk having to fight him again.

I ran away just before my hero and Yangus died, I reckon I could of killed him, but it would of let me with no mp to get anywhere

I enjoy it, managed to beat him now. (The inn in the island of neos is so expensive, considering you're sleeping on the floor)
