Forum Feedback and Suggestions

Pretty self-explanatory thread. Leave any forum feedback and suggestions in here please.


How can we improve the forum? Increase traffic? Anything you would specifically like to see in here?

Never noticed that actually. I suppose it should have its own. I think just a general football one would do for now though, and take it from there.

I think it'd be a bit patronising of me to make you ask for permission to open new threads. You are all mature enough not to open needless threads. And if you do, they are easily closed. (now that I know how to )

I really like that idea, it will make the forum look more organised as well as making stuff a lot easier to find if we include an index page(If we do what we do in the Football Forum and have links at the top with little badges that would be awesome).

Ideas for Threads: UK Football, European Football, Europa League & Champions League, World Cup, Horse Racing, Snooker, NFL, Boxing etc etc.

Sounds pretty simple but... Promote it ? Maybe you could ask the likes of Constantplanck, Toby and Highbury Highs if they wouldn't mind putting something on the top of there forum just to let people know that it's about - and now officiated by an alloy pinching scouser (That'll be me banned then ) Also after the World Cup has finished a few of us who post in different forums on Neoseeker could have a link underneath there sig ?

I know we all want to make this forum our home, like you would if you moved into a new house, but maybe we could look at other forums and 'borrow' some ideas from there ?

Another idea... for the Horse racing Thread we could maybe have links to tips. I know 'Templegate' has a page in The S** and there's also a Tips page on At The Races website.


Edit: I think a GD thread could be a good idea, it would stop people posting in here stuff that's not necessarily associated with the FFS.

If there's to be a football thread, I can't see past the need for just the one thread.

As for a GD, I think with most of us all from the same forum, it's not a priority. However, with new members like AznLiquid (sp?) coming in, and hopefully staying, maybe there will be room for one in the future.

This thread needs updating. Saul got lazy.

I think it would be nice to see a review of the season. I certainly would be in favour of an end-of-season awards/summary.

Done.

Exams are now finished. Off the pub for a few drinks and something to eat, then I'll be back to start sprucing this place up.

Regards to NBS awards, I'll post in the NBS plans thread some prospective awards for feedback.
