Created this to get a good idea about what threads everyone wants to see, ideas people may have etc.

Anyone gonna start a blog? I know Blue Moon was interested in it, and I'll be starting one up tomorrow as well. Would be good to see some of these around the forum. Even if you're not using real money, blogs to record results and profit/loss using paper money is a good idea when you want to test out a system.

Daily selection threads for different sports. As seen on other forums, threads like 'Saturday football selections'. Where we post up selections only. What do you think of having a new one of these each day for different sports?

System threads. If you've got a good betting system, or even if you're just testing one out, making a thread on it including the concept would be good. Will give everyone a chance to try things out/make adjustments if necessary.

Many ideas in my head atm so I'll leave it to everyone else if they've got anything.

I think for the time being, just one thread, for daily tips/selections. Just somewhere to discuss general bets really.

We need to get the syndicate thread up in here but maybe with more willing bettors. That thing just seemed to lack real interest in the Football Forum.

Thread specifically for discussing 'In Play' betting, and, using a football match as an example, maybe discussing how a match is going in relation any bets you have placed.

Yeah, agreed. Maybe just an in-play chat thread? Basically being used like the last few pages of the betting thread in the football forum.

I'm all for In-Play, I seem to make most my money that way. As a quick tip, Man U losing or drawing, get on them in the last 10 minutes... always!

Yeah, Im currently banned from the football forum, so havnt got on anyones back this week. Would we move it over here? Im not fussed..

In play is a cracking idea.

I don't know if every participant is actually a bettor. I think perhaps we should organise a new one.

Hmm ye, whatever. If you wanna start a new one here, feel free to copy an paste from the other one. I think everyone likes a bet though: Me, you, Underated, BM, MB, Turna, Andy, Sweeney, Caddy, mnolan and then Dazza & RoadKill like a bet too. Im not fussed though, I'll let the majority make the decision.

We could always expand it to like 7/8 a side to include the likes of MM who are betting now..

Maybe. If you're just setting it up to cover one day's betting at a time though, it wouldn't cover somebody spotting a great bet that's a few days time.

I think sticking to 4-6 a side is best, we aren't making any money from these. I'd think that 3 or 4 teams of 4 would be best and then if others decide they want to join, they can form a team and enter in or something.

Ah yeah, true. Maybe make a thread for weekly selections instead? We could date the time of each event in our posts and go from there.

And create the thread asking people if they want to participate


Also, how about a bettors league. We get say 20 participants or however many want to play and a list of fixtures are posted up at the weekend and you must choose one. This would last for something like 10 fixture weeks or something and the winner gets bragging rights pretty much. Like a league table. I don't know. Just throwing out ideas.
