Off(On)-Topic GD-V: Happy New Year's

Trying to get motivated to do this stupid social studies powerpoint. So pointless, so boring. Did I ever mention how boring australian geography/history is D:?

I hear Jax nerfs. Loud and clear. Saying that, I hear it for any Hybrid. I can now set off both parts of Akali's passive at level 1 without putting runes in wrong places .

These new mastery changes and item changes are taking longer than I thought to sink in, and it's destroying me from the inside out D:. It takes me a while to find the items I want now, and I'm not all too keen on the knew masteres. And by coincidence, there's been so many feeders and afks in my recent games.

Winning streaks are easy to break, losing streaks aren't. One you're positive and get cocky, the second is that you're down so your performance isn't as good as it should be.

On other news: been playing a lot of Medieval Total War 2 recently. Got #12 settlements as England in ~40 turns (pretty pathetic) and got multi-fronted by France and Scotland (I didn't take them out and left my homeland with almost no troops, smart idea huh?) So I gave up on that campaign, and started the French. Doing a massive land grab and got to #11 settlements in 13 turns, I love their position for taking rebel camps, I just hope I can keep England, Holy Roman Empire, Milan, Spain and Portugal happy to avoid getting completely multi-fronted. Not that anyone here cares .

WakeCraterWind the general's of the greeks are still broken like every other cavalry unit in that game, and can cause a mass rout in one charge. The egyptians are romans were just insanely broken, so much money, so much growth, best starting positions, weak and dispursed neighbour enemies and they still do well in the later turns of the game. Meanwhile, the only thing the barbarians have against them is there insane numbers and terrain bonuses, most of which won't be active in their territories. Britannia's major problem is that they're miles from then rest of the world, meaning that your expansion is somewhat slow at first. Then there's the issue of getting blind sided around 5-10 settlements down the road by Gaul, Germania and Dacia, whilst not standing a chance individually can utterly wreck your low garrison cities. They do however wreck with the nearby barbarians, thus making very strong until they start to come in their hordes and counter attack. Not to mention the fact they cannot siege very well. I tend to play the exhaustion game. Which takes forever.

In MTW2, cavalry just don't cause the same fear. If your ass was being charged by a massive group of horsemen, would you stay to fight them? Apparently so, thus making them almost too inefficient. Cavalry are supposed to cause almost instantaneous routs and get the hell away again, because few are high in armor. Infantry hold almost too well, considering my spear militia and there ones would fight until every last man was dead even after being charged. Thus making infantry slightly too powerful imo. The TW crew have never been able to fully balance everything (well, I haven't tried Napoleon or Shogun 2 TW) which is understandable I guess. But at least in this game Cavalry Archers aren't completely broken. I don't like the concept of castles though, because it makes recruiting somewhat of a bother.

I got a shit-ton of notification bombs from that news story, was just unnecessary.

I have the same question actually. It drives me insane, as I check my notifications every time I see one and it takes twice as long to check them/go back to the forum I was browsing on mobile mode.

I found the irony of this hilarious too. Although, 3 years (ish) ago, I must have been one of the most irritating people in the DW forum and Pokemon Forums and now I'm the Mod for the best forum on neo xD. I think nearly all of us started as very irritating 12-15 year olds. Hence why I'm still annoying .
