I'm not sure why you believe the meta is focused on AP's, they have their position, just like every other role. I think right now, going into the S2 Finals, the biggest Meta focuses are 2v1 Top matches, ADC's with escapes, or just Ezreal period, and unconventional team compilations like a Poke comp or a Push comp.

In all honesty, I think the biggest breakthrough to the Meta recently are the ADC's with a blink/dash/escape. Kog Maw was so big months ago, now it's always Ezreal Corki and Graves, with a hint of Vayne. The AP Carry role hasn't changed much at all for a while, despite both Zyra and Diana both being a bit too strong upon release.

ADC went bot because mid is an easy lane to gank.

Mages should be able to burst down ADC, that's basically half their job. For the ADC, half their job is positioning out of the way of those mages, which is why the ones with dashes (ez/corki/etc) are really strong right now.

You can also be ganked from either side, so it's not safe to stick to one side or the other. Gotta be near the middle, have a couple of wards, and hopefully an escape or some CC.

I've noticed that every champion I've played has become FotM right after I got done playing them obsessively for a month or so.

Olaf got the mana cost removed on his E and became WANT MINION *bleep* YOU HAVE LIGHTNING
Shyvana saw some tourney use with M5 and became supah Junglah.
Mundo got crazy big when people realized that his kit is actually a load of bullshit when jungling.
Ezreal became a horrifying, eldritch monster from the stygian darks of Hell.

I find top abnormally hard to gank, because both entrances can be covered with that one ward if placed right.

Makes it even more surprising when you do a loop gank, or a direct gank then. Wards make people complacent.
Try playing Lee Sin, Kha'Zix, or Shen jungle. Jump over walls to avoid common ward spots, and happy hunting.



On another note, on one hell of a losing streak once I leveled to 30. F*cking embarrassing at this point, man.

Aaaaand lost another because someone on the same pick turn as me instalocked mid despite me calling it in chat and saying I was going to counter their mid. He then proceeds to go 1-8. I pity disgusting players like that.

It's easier to stomach when it's someone else's fault.


But when you lose? And you know you could have done better? That just hurts in the pride, man.
