How to not get banned

Was browsing around and noticed a message string on twitter that is rather hilarious. Some guy got mad at Pendragon for getting banned, he had been hitting the Random button in ranked games. His reasoning was that you shouldn't be able to get banned for using something in the game for it's actual purpose.

This is the point where I stopped for a second and tried to comprehend the dumb. The random button is not built for ranked, or really draft in general, except maybe if you're the first pick or something. By the time the last pick rolls around (which this guy was), the team is usually pretty set up, and needs something specific. Hitting the button then is pretty much the definition of not cooperating with your team. Smacking the random button in every game you play is all good fun, but it's something to be done in the right environment, aka Blind Pick and Customs.

The moral of the story is rather simple:

I think getting banned for something like that is a bit silly though. A warning, perhaps. But a good player should be able to manage the team pretty well if the rest simply picks to support his randomed champion. Ah well, perhaps people figured he'd be trolling or something which I personally hate aswell.
