Manamune

So I love this item, it's my favorite item in the game, but at the same time, it's really just not viable except for very very specific cases. But it's in kind of an odd placement, so I'm wondering what other people think.

It's item cost is actually really good once you get rolling, and it can easily give decent amounts of AD by endgame without really being built with any other mana items. But that kind of is the problem I think, there are no other AD Mana items. You can't really build Manamune with anything else to help it out, besides a Triforce or defensive items. If there were items you could build with it, maybe buff it's base a little bit, I think it would actually be pretty decent.

At 1250 mana it provides the same AD as a BF sword, which basically is it's cost-effective point since the mp5 is worth the cost deficit there alone, about a 450g difference.

I think it is quite a nice item overall, but the fact that the initial 1k gold cost for the tear not providing any offensive bonuses can stop it from being viable. I think the only champion who it is fully viable on is yorick who has a really good early and so doesnt need offensive stats as much as others, champions who could make good use of it being ezreal, urgot, pantheon, although i dont think its ideal.

I build it on urgot and yorick. Lets you spam, gives ad. Pretty fair deal, in my opinion.
You can build manamune on ryze, since his abilities scale primarily off of mana, however, they keep lowering his mana scaling.
