thats freaky i was playing yesterday and a kogmaw got me 4 times whilst i was flashing away

It's actually not so hard to line up because people are rather predictable, and they don't seem to pay attention when I spit, so its pretty fun.

I'm bad at positioning and I'm decent at maintaining my CS, but that ult is what makes mah butterfly awesome.

I don't mind the Ashe reworking. She looked really dated before compared to every other character, so I'm kinda glad she looks cool now. They should do that for a couple of other characters too, methinks.

On another note, I like the visual changes to Summoner's Rift that they've made. The grass looks so much better now, as does the river. A very good and much needed facelift. Plus finally a minion counter! Yay!

I actually preferred the old nostalgic feel of the old Summoner's Rift... Made it feel like an old game in a fairly modern one...

One of the things that most bothered me about the graphics of the old Summoner's Rift was the very noticeable square around your character that always appeared when your he or she enters a bush. It was literally painful to watch such a blatant graphical hiccup and I had to literally concentrate on something else in order to ignore. It was one of those things that you couldn't unsee.

Ashe's early game isn't too bad really. What causes her to fall flat these days is her lack of an escape. Slows don't do jack for that anymore, and that's what she was based around for any kind of survivability, kiting. In vanilla it actually worked out really well, but Riot's been releasing so many champions with gap closers that it really doesn't protect ashe when she slows somebody down. They'll just hop the distance and laugh. This doesn't really mean she's bad, but it is her major weakness, as even other carries generally have some kind of movement skill (Vayne, Cait, Graves, Ezreal, Tristana, Corki, Fiora, Yi, Tryndamere, not counting flat movement bonuses like Sivir and MF). From every champion tagged as Carry that I can find, only 4 don't have movement skill. Varus, Kog, Ashe, Twitch. Kog makes up for it by having some of the highest damage caps of any carry, Ashe with her arrow of awesome, twitch with his stealth, varus...i guess it's supposed to be range or something. Honestly the lack of a movement skill is probably what made him fall out of Flavor of the Month status so crazily fast.

Have to agree though, Ashe's ultimate is one of the best initiations in the game and is just flat out amazing.

Naw, Ashe's early is still poor. Her harass is weak, her slow scales per level so early game it's almost useless. Like you said, she has no escape, and I would go as far as to say every other Ranged AD is more terrifying in lane. She needs a good support, and you can't use her well in a kill lane. If you DO want to trade with the enemy, you need to max your Volley, while I like to max hawkshot as soon as possible for more gold as fast as possible.

Yeah I agree with Lorx. Ashe is fine early game. She might be one of the slowest moving champions to start off with (><) but I've had a lot of fun (and success) building her with 3 Zeals and kiting the crap out of anything that moves with frost shots.
