	Log in to remove this sponsored message Well, as some of you probably have figured out, I main cassiopeia and mainly use mages or ap hybrids. However, I'm in need of a few recommendations as for who to start with. Which champion do you guys suggest?

	Done annie a while back, wasn't ever too keen on her. Ahri isn't on f2p anymore . I'm trialing Cho'Gath at the moment but his early killing mechanism isn't great. 6 stacks feast, rod of ages, warmogs and a couple of other items = gg major cho tank with the ability to do some heavy damage. But he's not the most fun to play. Other suggestions?

	Want to SET THE WORLD ON FIRE? Brand. Want to GET THIS PARTY STARTED? Gragas. Want THE MAGIC TO CALL TO YOU? Veigar. Want to ROLL YOUR FACE ACROSS YOUR KEYBOARD AND SCORE QUADRA AND PENTAKILLS? Ryze. A lot of mages are fun, imo, but you gotta find the ones that just click with you.

	My favorite AP mid is Swain. It really depends on how you want to play. I like to have sustained damage and a bit of tankiness, which is why Swain is a perfect choice for me. Gragas is decent in the tankiness area but he is more burst than sustain. Ryze is also a great choice for both sustain and tankiness, and scales ridiculously well into late game. ------------------- [LoL] [WoW] \| song » T

	That's actually the reason why I love playing Vlad Archangel, he excels at being tanky & more sustained than bursty. I really should try swain, but it wouldn't feel right unless I was Commie Swain (the skin). ------------------- [twitter]

	I haven't really had the chance to play Vlad unfortunately. Every time he is free I either have computer problems or work/school commitments. It makes me sad because I'm sure I would be great with him. Then again, Swain completely counters Vlad in lane, so maybe my view of Vlad is a little skewed. ------------------- [LoL] [WoW] \| song » T

	Thanks guys. I forgot about veigar- I once ran a 25/5/13 with him . Very squishy though . Think I might start playing veigar again for the trolling effect .

	Good point. Random question, but is it possible to have a good AP build Ezreal? My friend plays him almost flat AP and sorta, well, sucks. I play him mainly AD with a bit of AP on the side and seem to do well.

They nerfed his W's utility and buffed Q, which made AD the better option. The buff was substantial enough to actually put AD Ezreal on really good terms, so they needed to nerf him again. Except they then nerfed his AP ratios for some reason. Like three times. In a row. Basically AP build got the Heimer treatment, but AD was never actually nerfed much again, in fact it was buffed after a bunch of his AP nerfs, as he got a decent AD ratio on his Ult. I get him a hextech gunblade because his mini-port scales ok with ability power and that extra damage helps ruin them. And as he's something like the 3rd squishiest champion (well I can only think of two squishier than him, twitch and varus) that spell vamp helps a bit too. I get Boots of Lu- what ever the hell it is, Manamune, Hextech Gunblade, Last Whisper and I've never gotten any further than that on his build unforunately. I would have said that IE would be good? And maybe a PD too? Meh he's a bit tricky to get right anyway. Skill shots miss RAGE.
