Madreds is great if you're fighting a team with at least like two tanky-DPS on it. For conventional teamcomps, where a good portion of the enemies you want to focus are squish, IE will serve you better. More raw damage, synergizes with PD.

Love Madreds though, it's so much fun to itemize towards.

Yeah in that case the team was tanky, and I had enough gold to sell and buy back and build was finished.

But in all seriousness, I like to jungle him, so:

Boots3 or Cloth5, depending on how you feel
Build into wriggle's
HoG
Merc's (Some people prefer Zerker's, but I feel as though the extra magic resist and out-of-ult tenacity helps)
Giant's belt or build phage, depending on how much dosh you've got and you can only afford to get ruby crystal/long sword on trips back.

There's a lot of wiggle room since you'll most likely be fulfilling an offtank role, so you'll want to itemize according to the enemy comp. I sometimes run Wit's End around the middle of the game, especially if they're running double AP, but I think I want to start building Hexdrinker into MoM now. At least to experiment.

You'll want to definitely finish Frozen Mallet sooner rather than later. Help you stick to people so you can wap them with your wad better. And then go for Warmog's. You should be hitting for monster damage with constant E's and W with the health, so then you build Atma's.

You can probs sell Wriggle's and finish up Randuin's at this point. This'll not only give you health and defense, but it's probably the best item activation spell in the game, in my opinion. (Shurelya's is for baby diaper men.) There's a lot of options for your last item when you sell wriggle's. Want to do da damages? Bloodthirster may be more your style. Want more protection from those nasty bursts? Maybe Banshee's Veil. It'll give you (even more) protection for disables along with health and MR, which is always good for Olaf.

Anyway, end game build should be something like:

Zerker's/Merc's
Warmog's
Atma's
Frozen Mallet
Wit's End (Tentative MoM)
Randuin's

Keep in mind that his build has been effective in and around 1300 ELO. It's probs not that great.
