	Log in to remove this sponsored message I am new to the game and have been working on getting accustomed to the controls, specials, combos, and timing through training mode and challenge mode. I am on Fei-Long right now, and the timing from just a hard punch to flame kick is extremely hard. I have pulled it off but only after mashing the command for flame kick SUPER QUICK after the hard punch. Any suggestions for such a simple combination? Also, are there other characters who don't require such a strict timing? Some of the challenges that are simple I can't even do (such as a two button combo).

	Fei-Long has one of the stricter timings on canceling his normals (his cr. jab xx rekka is one of the hardest in the game, but it's not hard because the game is easy mode execution). Um like, Rose has easy 2 hitcombos, she's not execution heavy. I always direct people to her cuz she helps you learn basic fundamentals and stuff. -------------------

	Yeah, this game is pretty ridiculous. I can really appreciate the good gamers like Mike Ross, Daigo, Mago, etc... With a game like MK9 though, which is so easy to pick up, I can't see this type of game drawing many people in. It seems like SF games have a strict input system, especially when it comes to cancels and links. It also requires a long, long, long learning curve, and the game is host to mostly people who grew up with the series. This is why I feel a game like SF x Tekken will only sale to those already in the SF small gaming community. Mortal Kombat is definitely new to the tournament setting. I think it has a lot of potential, however, mainly from the easiness to pick up and harder to master style. It pretty much seems like it is just a bunch of move cancelling. MvC3 I haven't really looked at yet, but it seems to have hit hard and then dissipated with time. I think Capcom actually may have done a much better job at creating a game that appeals to new gamers and old gamers alike. Older gamers I feel complained a little because it a game was made accessible to a broader audience. Ultimately, the complaints fell away since the game turned out to be fun (minus DLC prices lol). I don't know too much about the combo/control scheme since I have not played any Marvel game ever so maybe someone could enlighten me in how it compares with the newer SSFIV AE and MK2011. Anyway, I am going to go ahead and post in the PS3 general discussion forum and see how this is received.
