I've searched through a lot of the players recommended within this forum and none have the tag "Wonderkid" ?

I've looked at Verratti, Cristaldo, Raul, Renan, Tinga, to name but a few.

Surely it's just a bug and there is Wonderkids ?

Wonderkid's need to be identified first. If at the age of 18 and playing first team football with good results those players will be given the tag of wonderkid. However, wonderkid's don't sit in the under 19's squad like some of those you named do until bought up by us human managers in the know.

Well I've just started a new game with Manchester United.

I've just bought the following:

Silviu Lung jr
Koke
Keko
Verratti
Cristaldo
Ananidze
Renan
Galvan
Ortamendi
Bernardo

I'm hoping that when given the chance a few of these will get the tag "Wonderkid".

I've just spent the last 30 minutes sorting out my staff so I'm hoping that most (If not all) of these players live up to their reputations.

It's just like in real life, I confess to having used Genie Scout for FM09, i bought a regen with 198PA that potential ability only gets recognised when he starts to play regular football at a decent level and turns out great performances.

They are nurtured into world class players if they aren't getting the right training they won't ever reach their potential ability, hence they 'become' wonderkids they don't start out with the tag.
