J-League Database 2010 / Duke29's update released
|
This is full build of my annual J-League database. It includes nearly 1000 unique players added to the game, realistic Japanese league structure, competitions and finances and a graphics pack including logos, kits and backgrounds. Some features of the download include:
- 18 club J-League 1 with 2 rounds, 3 teams relegated
- 18 club J-League 2 with 3 rounds, 3 teams promoted and 1 relegated
- 18 club JFL with 2 rounds, 1 team promoted and 1 relegated
- 9 regional divisions with no promotion
- Emperor's Cup - single elimination cup
- Super Cup for league and cup winners
- League Cup for J-League 1 clubs
- Shakaijin Cup for regional division clubs (FA Vase)
- 3 foreigner cap imposed on all match squads, 4 foreigner limit per club
- J-League salary cap approximation
- All league history and awards sorted
- Club nicknames, rivalries, favourites added
- Over 1000 new players and staff
- New Wave Kitakyushu renamed Giravanz Kitakyushu to reflect their 2010 name
- No player histories this year because last year everyone decided that they would rather have more players than accurate histories. Plus histories have proven to be a crash dump headache.
- Graphics pack featuring logos from richardlfc and Dec, backgrounds, a small facepack and unique reinterpretations of actual kits from Dec.
- Still an occasional crash dump issue on team selection screen...it would do everyone well to save their game before attempting to select a club.

Filefront link for the graphics up now too. Personally I think that everyone should download a copy just to have 1000 new players and staff.

Here is this week's update. The fixes from the last release include:
- lessens (I haven't had any but I know that some may still occur) crash dumps on club selection screen
- fixes player rating balance issues with Brazilians
- fixes national retirements and contracts
- makes Gon slower (long live Gon!)
- changes the spelling of Kyushu to Kyuushuu by request

There will be one more update this season for the end of season and then I think that I will retire from making J-League databases after many years of doing these. I'm tired of people complaining if the calender is off by one day and ignoring the fact that I created thousands of new people and fought off hundreds of crash dumps. Its time to let someone else deal with the whinging for a change.

They had quite the good season this year too so they should be mint on the db. I'll get a J-League discussion up on the main board at some point in the very near future.
