Ohh yes, it's back again (and so is this same introduction), to give you the most horrid and beautiful times you may ever experience on a football manager simulation game. The aim of this challenge is, instead of taking control of a club/nation like you may normally do so; instead you will begin the game unemployed and your reputation should be set as Sunday league footballer. To become employed, you will need to apply for a job and accept a contract, this is more than likely to be from a non-league/lower league side. You will need to load up leagues from the following countries in Europe: England, Spain, Italy, France and Germany.

The aim is then to work your way up the divisions until you are managing one of the biggest clubs in Europe, those being the teams listed below:

England

1. Manchester United
2. Liverpool
3. Chelsea
4. Arsenal

Spain

1. F.C. Barcelona
2. Real Madrid
3. Sevilla
4. At. Madrid

Italy

1. Inter Milan
2. Juventus
3. AC Milan
4. Fiorentina

Germany

1. Bayern Munich
2. Wolfsburg

France

1. Lyon
2. Olympique Marseille


Once you've received the managerial position at one of the above mentioned clubs, you will have completed the Unemployment Challenge !

There will be a leader board included in this thread giving the names of everybody who has attempted this challenge in order of completion.

Screen-shots of your career path will need to be provided to show that you have not cheated and taken over any clubs. If anything looks suspicious, I impose the right to ask for further proof.

I will be starting this probably from the moment I first get the game, really can not wait.

Yeah I had the same opinion as you on the team's, but like you said it doesn't really matter. My goal is always to try and become Chelsea but I am yet to ever complete this challenge. Mainly because I tend to get side tracked after three seasons or so and never get back into the grove ):

Just hope its easier to get jobs in FM10.

I was Braintree for 3 seasons, got them into the BSP, lost in the play-offs twice and the only other job I could get was with teams which got promoted to the BSN/S

I usually only load one league at a time, and on the demo for the quick load England i've got 1/2 star for game speed (even though it seems alot quicker than 09) but hopefully i'll be able to load two countries without any problems.

Surely there shouldnt be a Villarreal in the top 4 Spanish sides. Last season-wise, it should be Atletico. This season-wise, and FM 10 demo-wise, it should be Valencia, simply because they have a by far superior roster.
