	Log in to remove this sponsored message Yes. But I'm getting repetitive injury syndrome so I'm having to cut back. I'm a slow learner but I've got quite a good thing going with Man Utd now. We won the Premiership in 2009-10 and did the double in 2010-11 (Premiership and FA Cup). The Board are very grumpy though. They said, "Well done, but you didn't do very well in the Champions League" (I only made it to the first knock-out round.) My star signings so far have been: Ewin Dzeko, Fernando Gago, Fred (first season) Sotiris Ninis, Angel di Maria (second season) I've only just got started on 2011-12 but I've spent £60m on René Adler (GK) Romelu Lukaku (ST and AMR) and Adrien (to replace Hargreaves and supply back up to Gago). What's a bit annoying is that Hargreaves turned down my renewal of contract offer on the grounds that the wages were too low but then signed for Lazio (or somewhere) for the same amount! Anyway, I'll see how I get on in the current season. I'm trying to fend Chelsea off who want Wayne Rooney; and I'm trying to offload Ferdinand, who 'has issues with me' ever since I stopped him being captain.

Have you tried uninstalling and the reinstalling the game. It might work. I'm still plugging away with Man Utd. I'm in my 4th season now. I've won Premiership every year so far and am 8 pts clear in Jan 2013. Romulo Lukoku is my best buy. He gets loads of goals and he's still only 20.

	I got bored with Man Utd as I just kept winning the Premiership year after year (never quite managed the champions league but there you go). So I thought I'd start at the bottom and took on Crawley of the Blue Square Premier league. Total disaster - they never did anything. Now I'm starting with Altincham (BSP) - they have the advantage of being part time 'minnows' so no one has any expectations of them. I'm currently 7th in feb, though I've lost a few lately. I got a couple of great free signings (Giallombardo and Aaron Moses-Garvey) who are worth about £200k between them. I tried to sell them at mid-season to raise funds but no one would take them even at knock-down prices. So I've kept them. I didn't have any transfer budget at all! I tend to use a diamond formation (either narrow or wide depending on what my scouts tell me about the opposition).

	I'm still managing Altrincham. We were top of League 1 at one point but ended up about 11th. The problem is finance. The ground only holds 6,000 and I cannot get the Board to put any money into developing training or youth facilities. My transfer budget for 2016 -17 is only £60k and my scouts keep recommending players who cost 10 or 20 times that much. So progress is slow. My best result to date was to knock West Brom out of the FA Cup. Unfortunately we got beaten 4 - 0 at home by Chelsea in the 5th round. All good clean fun though!

	Quick question: several times I've had a loan player injured and have been advised to end the loan and return the player to the parent club - but I haven't found a way of doing this. Any advice?

	Nice kit. I've abandoned FM2010 for the moment after two useless tries at managing Newcastle United. I'm now using FM 2008 and Newcastle came 4th at the end of the first season.

	I've started my fourth attempt to play Newcastle and I've finally succeeded in making it to the Premiership - result! I'm not a Newcastle fan but I wanted to experience what promotion felt like. It's not that big a deal actually. Some grudging words from the Board and a measly transfer budget of £5million. What's more difficult, I'm only allowed to keep 25% of any sale income. I paid £4.5 for Darren Gibson as he was a great loan signing in season one - practically got us promoted on his own. I got Connor Clifford on a free and paid £1.6m for Klasnic. I've also got a Man Utd reserve player due to arrive in January - forgotten his name for the mo.

	I'm well into my second season in the Premiership now. I don't support Newcastle - I'm a Man U fan - but I must admit that I quite enjoyed beating Man U 3 - 0! One 'glitch' I've discovered is that when you buy a new player and do the registration, if you just click on 'automatically register' it seems to miss some players out. I just bought Carlos Vela for £9.5 million - my most expensive signing to date - and I cannot play him until January 2012, which is highly annoying. My second most expensive signing is Scott Dann at £8m and he's been total rubbish so far My best buy was probably Darren Gibson for £5.25m - he's been a real star. Andy Carroll is doing OK. Tom Cleverly (£3.8m) is doing reasonably well, too. My best signing in the first season was Marlon Harewood for £700k - he's not great but he certainly helped us win promotion. David Mutch for £220k was also good value and seems to be improving with each passing season. I've got a new pc so I can finally play in TV view without the thing jerking crazily - it's quite fun, especially when you win!

	You must have had a bigger transfer budget than me! I wonder if it's random or whether you always get the same budget if you manage Man U?

	At the risk of stating the obvious, have you tried a counter-attacking 4 - 3 - 3? Bringing on impact subs often seems to make quite a difference. I always do have man-to-man markiing rather than zonal marking. I'm sure you'll get there in the end!! Ken

	FM 2010 has crashed on me... it says there is an XML parsing error and I cannot open my last game (which is frustrating as I was two seasons into playing Man City and was top of the Premiership. Even uninstalling and reinstalling the programme hasn't helped. Any ideas?
