MUF Update 2010/11 ~ Final Update Now Available (With Fixes)

Hello there.

I know there is already an update going around by viva fergie but as I usually create an update around the summer time each year, I decided to carry on with the habit.

I will be doing all the transfers from around the world, updating relegations and promotions, player stats, CA's and PA's, Champions League and Europa League places, team reputations, national reputations, manager and staff changes, kits, competition winners and much much more.

Beta v1.0

Just a quick Beta to give an idea of what I'm aiming at, hope you like it.

Some promotions are purely based hypothetically with the play-offs not being completed.

Might release another beta in the coming week or two.

Because when I released the beta the play-offs had just started so I just promoted the third place team for sake of argument. Rest assured Blackpool are in the Prem for the next beta.

They are changing to npower next year.

I remember I put him on a four game ban in January when he was given a ban after elbowing McShane.

Then when I made certain mistakes on the DB I merged them together and it gave him an extra ban every time I merged. Think that's why I ended up with 12 Raheem Sterling's too

I think it's because of different qualifying to last year so I've had to put a couple of extra teams in that the system doesn't take into account, I'll try and sort it. If I have to ditch a few Faroe teams then I don't think many people will lose sleep.

So then guys what else do you think could do with changing before I release the 4th beta.

Nice to see transfers are becoming more frequent now it's July.

Dunno. I don't choose set dates, just depends on how much transfer activity there's been which there's been more of lately. Probably sometime earlyish next week, Tuesday or Wednesday maybe.

That's just what I called for when I do actually release the 'final' update, which won't be for a while yet

Genuinely don't know when the next update will be, got a lot to do on it plus a few surprises which I'm keeping quiet for now but they'll take a while to do, nothing too exciting though

Right guys,

my laptops knackered basically and I'm on a back-up for now until I get a new one, but all the editor stuff is on the old laptop.

I've had to download my own beta 7 update and going to start from there, but i've saved the file into the editor data file but it doesn't show up when I load up FM or the editor

Any help?

Right as I explained a while back I am currently having difficulties with the laptop etc. I am now back on the laptop permanently and will start updating again, although I am about 10 days behind.

I have decided there will be no more beta's until the final version comes out .

Right, so any major flaws I need to amend for the final version or are we all set?

The Belgian leagues have been fixed, although there is nothing I can do about crash dumps.

Right, everything's up-to-date and I will be releasing tomorrow depending on what other transfers end up going through like loans and frees etc, and deals such as VDV of course.

If people find errors, which I'm sure they will, nothing can be perfect, I will upload another one in another week with fixes and things like that for people who haven't been able to get into a game because of it.
