It seems the same to me, unless you mean the qualifying rounds which I have no experience of, but changed irl this year.

Yeah, I finished 3rd as Valencia, thought I was gonna have qualifying round, but turns out I was drawn to the group stage straightaway.

Spain is probably the same as England. The top 3 go straight into the group stages now, while the 4th team goes into the final round of qualifying.

They changed the way they draw the last qualifying round i think... it's something like they seeded or unseeded (think they changed it to unseeded) the last qualifying round this year had Celtic and arsenal in the last qualifying round didn't it? it's meant to give the lesser clubs chance of making it into the group stage instead of pairing them up against the top clubs in the last qualifying round.
