Who shall i conquer Europe with ? |
|
i've always wanted to take a small club, or even a big club, right to the top !
We've seen SLB do it with Benfica, and the other guy (forgot his name) win it with Debrecen, so i was wondering, does anyone have suggestions on who to be ? Im up for any league, apart from the obvious, England, Spain, Italy and Germany. Apart from them, i would love to hear your suggestions Thanks to everyone who replies!

Shaktar try and pick a team in good financial health not necersarily rich but clean of debts as with club debts ect to pay will make it a lot harder to keep up with the likes of man city, madrid, barcelona ect

quote Forza_MilanNice group of players, Defour will be central to the team. He's young. They have a pretty darn good youth system tbh. And I'm not quite sure on their budget.

St Ettiene in France would be a solid choice. Fantastic youth set up, stable finances and a strong league enabling you to build a reputation sufficient to capture high profile players and hang onto your young starlets longer.

quote tommyredfernWould be great to have someone join me Im still deciding what team to go with actually, there's just so much to decide from! I was thinking, St etienne - From what i've heard, excellent team, should be a challenge. CFR Cluj - Excellent run in the Champions league last year, have been a team that was in ruins just 5 years ago, and now are wealthy and succesful in Romanian standards. Red Star Belgrade - Won that last European cup, one of the most succesful teams in history of Eastern European football, and the last team to ever win a major title. Ajax - Top youth system, great players, competetive league. Panathanaikos - Great history, rich and nice name. Shakhtar - Might be too easy to be honest, but you can only have 7 non Ukrainian players in your team so would be a challenge for Europe. Unirea Urziceni - Beat Rangers 4 - 1 and then got a draw with Stuttgart. And theres so many more, i cant decide

Unirea would be ridiculously hard, but Rangers are a very good team to do it with

Athletico Madrid. They have a wonderful youth system, aguero and you'll have to fend off the likes of sevilla valencia real madrid and barcelona for a champions league spot

re: Who shall i conquer Europe with ? |
quote tommyredfernYeah, looking for the same here. I actually started a game with Sporting CP earlier today. Vukcevic, Matias Fernandez, Moutinho and Veloso make your midfield, most probably the best in the world, by miles. And you've still got Adrien and Izmailov coming up through the ranks aswell, so the futures guaranteed. What you think of the Greek or Romanian leagues ? I had a game with Cluj the other week, and you can attract some fairly good players if you free up enough space.
