I'm about 10 matches into my first season with Liverpool and I've had an amazing start!





100% win record, 33 goals scored and 1 goal conceded (0 in the league)! Torres and Gerrard are scoring for fun and I've already beaten chelsea and utd 3-0 and arsenal 2-0 away! Despite a very low transfer budget, Liverpool do actually have a pretty decent squad and players like N'Gog, Bruna, Spearing and Darby all show gr8 promise 4 the future! (It was basically my reserves that beat a very gd Championship side in Newcastle at St James'!)

I have two tactis, which I vary depending on injuries, form, etc.

These r the tactics I usually use at home or against weak opposition (against stronger opposition I change the strategy to control):



And these r what I usually use away from home (against stronger opposition I change to counter):



However, like I said depending on form and fitness I can use either tactics against any1 and I just alter the strategy e.g. even if I'm away against Man Utd and I've only got 1 fit/in-form striker I could still use the home tactics but I'd change to control or counter. You can adjust however you like whenever you like, it seems to work any way.

I've heard of a lot of ppl selling Lucas, Babel, Aurelio, etc. because of their form in real life but on FM these players r quite good, especially until u have enough money to replace them.

Great start there matey, i would recommend you sign Edin Dzeno (i think that is how its spelt) the price tag might be quite high but he is incredible, i have him on my Chelsea game and he scores goals for fun!
Great signing in Van Nistelrooy he can score some handy goals for you coming off the bence, good luck for the future mate

I have considered signing Dzeko (once there's some money to spend ) to partner Torres up front - after all, RVN aint gonna last forever!

Another player I would like to sign in the future is Gourcuff as a long-term replacement for Gerrard.

Sounds like a good plan there mate, definitely sign Dzeno, he is immense! Him and Torres would complement eachother well, keep me posted mate on how the season goes for you

Wow what a start!! Could you show us a screenie of the results against Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal (match stats and player ratings). I recommend strongly that u sign Gourcuff - he took my Arsenal team apart in the Champions League (lost 3-0, Gourcuff scored twice). He is defo in the mould of Gerrard.

btw, since my arsenal save I have started a game with Liverpool and like u have signed RVN. But I struggle 2 get the best out of him. In 8 matches (5 starts) he is yet to score. What is his player role for u and could u post an SS of his form?
