Part of your problem is you spent too much of your transfer budget on players who are not top half material. As good as Riordan is for Hibs, he is not Prem material as a striker. On my Celtic game I shut him down with hard tackling all the time and U-21 defenders (Caddis and Rebeiro). Prem defenders are better quality and can handle Riordan.

If you want to strengthen your strike force (recommended), try to get RVN from Real. Costs less than Riordan although his wage demands are likely higher. If you can't meet his wages, sell players and adjust your budgets accordingly.

I agree but SPL players on FM often do well in the Prem, if you look at Craig Bryson, his stats are the same as on 09 and on 09 he was my key midfielder with Wigan

True--Brown, Maloney, and McGeady often do very well for Prem sides afterI sell them. But Riordan will not lead Hull to the promised land and there are better values available.

Yeah i agree, you should have got Zaki for just £1.8m, or even John Sutton who on my Hibs save is at Middlesbrough valued at £4m and has scored barrel loads Zemmama is a good buy but Riordan was maybe a bit much but if he scores goals it will be worth it

continued on my game from the demo with Hull,

1st ever result was a 2-0 win against Chelsea @ home. picked up 13 points against the "top 4" sides in the 1st season. That ultimately kept me up (clear of relegation by 5 points).
