	Sure can. It's VASTLY easier to use the net once you upgrade it though, so look to do that once the option becomes available to you. It turned the Bug Net from an annoyance to a joy to use for me. ------------------- MH3U < Wii U Community > Trine 2 GameGrep - Video Game News

	Why not? It's just a name, and the net is more than large enough to catch those tiny birds. 	Actually, I never even thought about the name. I just put net and bird together in my head and went for it. It's featured before in another game and a few titles in other series so I imagine they'd want to just use the same name again. He's marked on the map, if you look up you can see him, and you should be able to hear him approaching.
