Got the original game many years ago as a freebie in a cereal box (you don't see promotions like that anymore... only reason I ate cereal for once, haha) and I spent many, many hours playing that game. Eventually I got a bit bored and started mucking around with cheats and then moved on. Not being much into gaming until a few years ago though I never went out of my way for the series. Played some AoE2 at a friend's a few times, same goes for AoM. The next title I bought following this was Empire Earth II. Great game and also played for a long time, but went to reinstall it recently and the disc is too scratched... Civ V is one of my PC wishlist games. It looks pretty cool/interesting. I picked up Civ 5 for just £10, GOTY edition too, it's jumped back up to £30 now though. Unfortunate for you. -------------------

	Are they scratched up too? I dunno how on earth (get it?) my EoEII CD got scratched, because it was in a sleeve in its box. A real shame as I used to have it installed on my previous laptop. Then again, I've been having problems with Mirror's Edge on Steam even though it says there's nothing wrong whatsoever. xD Keep forgetting to redownload it. Currently getting Rusty Hearts and will look into a couple more of the F2P titles. I'm so poor/saving up that I wouldn't have even bought it at the cheaper price. I'm being the ultimate hoarder with money right now, haha. Will be getting the pleasure of paying for my next load of Uni books soon anyway. Finally warm here so I went swimming the pool today. 	Same here, it's starting to get closer to freezing temperatures. But it happened overnight, and I woke up freezing. With central Texas because the pansies we are, the entire city will shut down at the sight of a snowflake. -------------------

	Oh how I wish for snow. Or any sort of cold weather, haha. Where I work it was 40 degrees celsius today... and supposedly it's staying like that for over a week at least. Was nice and quiet though; everyone's still on holidays. Speaking of those sorts of games, Rune Ripper, I just remembered an old title I own called Dark Reign: The Future of War. I was so young when I got it though that I never got further than the first few levels from finding it too hard. 	Anyone here getting ready for a new year of study? I'm off until March but I'm currently selecting my subjects for this year. Asking previous students makes it a lot easier though.
