Gratitude Crystal Sidequest

So, what does everyone think of the main sidequest in this game? This one features the Gratitude Crystal quest, where you're running around Skyloft helping people out and searching in various places to get something for Batreaux (sp?).

This quest has got to be the best one I've ever done in a Zelda game. I'm falling in love with it for some reason, and I really have no idea why. So far, I've found the one random one at night in the Knight's Academy (near the bush by the door), and I've gotten fifteen from helping people out (the Kukiel sidequest gives five, and the brother and sister one gives ten). It's really fun just roaming around everywhere.

Thoughts on it? Do you dislike it, like it, or just find it way too annoying to run around everywhere and do all this "community service" for these people?

I really like this side-quest as well. It's like the Poe Souls and Gold Skulltula from previous games, except much more fun.
I've got all of the Gratitude Crystals myself, and I love the Tycoon Wallet you get as a reward.

Dark Arcanine - Same thing here. At first, I thought "alright, cool. Short sidequest for the fun of it." Then I got down to Uncle Bats's house (I love that name), and I heard that ridiculously loud scream. I thought "oh holy crap, I'm fighting a giant beast next." Then I prepped myself, and I was a bit disappointed when I found out we weren't supposed to fight him...until I realized he was actually pretty awesome. I was really happy finding out it was a giant quest though, since I've never done those before.

Disappointed in it really, especially the rewards. Sure a 9999 rupee wallet sounds nice, but by the time you're able to do the last of the quests you won't need that much money, at least that's how it was for me.

We needed one of those Ocarina of Time quests that give you infinite money.

I was pretty neutral with the prize. It isn't useful, but those late game, big quest items hardly ever are or can be. Its not like you can save a really important item, one really used to great effect in combat or puzzles, since a lot of people won't likely get it. The best we usually get is one of those, "powerful effect but terrible side effect" things like the armors from WW or TP, which aren't all that useful either.

There is also a Gratitude Crystal in Zelda's room. Once Link collects all the Gratitude Crystals there will be some dramatic changes in Skyloft.

I like it. ^ Helping people is such a nice way to complete sidequests. The rewards aren't too shabby either. Plus the quests are quite sweet.
