What'd you name your hero? - Page 2

I should've named him Zelda, but i named him Link aswell

i used to use link, but awhile ago i started using Dark for every name entry in games, since i play a lot of games that need four letters and my personal name is too long anyway; i don't remember how i came across Dark but as a randomly morbid person, i've grown attached.

I called him Simon.

That would just be confusing.

my guy has always been "Waldo". i don't know why but it sounded cool.

Since I have kids and they like Zelda games, we entertained the possibility of naming them Link 1, Link 2, and Link 3, but my family decided to have a little fun with it. Youngest son retained the name Link, oldest son used the name Mr. Link, and I just used the name Daddy. Now the story line gets quite amusing when Fi addresses my older son as Master Mr. Link. But it is even more fun when Zelda's father and everyone else refers to me as Daddy. Like I am the Hyrule style Abraham. Maybe it would have been more fun to be more formal and be called Master, or even go with some other names such as Cloud, Sly, Ratchet, Bilbo, or even Lord British.
