Will Zelda make an appearence in this game? Do we want her to? - Page 2

I think the series isn't The Legend of Zelda without Zelda herself being involved in some way or another. I think she definitely will make an appearance, after all the legend of the game is based around her.

I am not sure in what form though...or even how I'd want her to appear.

Well, as the games progress, Zelda is steadily being given more and more of a role instead of damsel in distress. Kinda. In OoT, she gives you the arrows (yeah yeah, then becomes the damsel in distress), WW, she is Tetra who helps you at various parts through the game. In PH, she was the damsel, but still had a busier role later. And I am guessing she had a busier role in ST too? TP, she reverted a little, but still fought with you at the end during the horseback battle with Ganondorf (though I wished we got the arrows instead). Hopefully in this game she will play a bigger part then any before in terms of she isn't just the princess captured by the villain and needs saving, and possibly giving you an item.

Zelda played a larger role in Spirit Tracks, but only because she had access to the Phantoms. In the end she wound up fighting alongside Link in his battle against Malladus, although she was limited to using the bow like in Twilight Princess.

I think it's safe to assume Nintendo isn't looking to keep her in the traditional damsel in distress role, which is fine because I like the idea of her playing a more prominent role in the series.

Yeah, when will we get a chance to see these magic powers she supposedly has? I mean, you would think the least they could do is throw in a couple of spells that resemble her attacks in Smash Bros.

Really, what else could they do with Zelda? She's already been in disguise, ala Sheik and Tetra. She's already been killed and teamed up with Link as a ghost, ala Spirit Tracks. She's already been possessed and forced to battle with Link, ala Twilight Princess.

I have no idea what Nintendo could do next with her.

Thats no fun. There has to be more sexual tension It would be great to give Link more incentive to save a flippin princess.
