In Fake Karakura, we spent quite a while reading how 4 Lieutenants and Soifon fight Barragan's Fraccion, a further bit about how several Lieutenants and Yamamoto fight Allon and Harribel's Fraccion, all while waiting for the more important Captain vs Espada fights.

The fights involving Fraccion have a whole lot of potential to be shortened, like if more people were like Komamura defeating Ikkaku's opponent easily, or better, have the fights shown simultaneously.

I was especially annoyed with Allon's and Ggio Vega's fights. The first because he seemed like his only purpose is to get Yamamoto to use his Shikai. If we wanted the lieutenants beat up, Harribel's Fraccion would be enough. I'll be damned if anything from that fight becomes a plot point later on.

The second because Soifon spent too much time fighting him. As a Captain, she should've beaten a Fraccion easily. Byakuya and Kenpachi w/o Eyepatch didn't even have trouble with their Espadas. :/

Plus, we don't need to know what kind of powers every single mook has when they're about to die anyway. :\

At least in Hueco Mundo, the fights seemed more relevant to each character's development, even the Privaron Espada fights where Ichigo learned to swallow his pride, and Chad and Ishida got powerups.

And before someone points out that the Lieutenants' fights in Karakura also showed off their Shikais and previously unshown strengths, the difference between them is that Chad and Ishida are main characters, while the Lieutenants are supporting characters at best.
