I've finished the game several times now, and I'm missing
two cards. 53 and 101. Does anyone know where they are? Also
does anyone know how to get into the secret passage behind
a portrait. The portrait is in the deadend room across from the hall leading to the grandstaircase. I know there's a
crawlspace behind it, I just can't figure out how to get the
picture to open. Can you get into the keep out room? Are there really students you can help and get a key from?

I'm willing to help anyone with questions.

Hi, there are several things I,ve missed so I guess I,ll have to go back and play the game again, I have owl treats for cedwig yet and need to find a few more things, everything else has been found and I have to get about 20 more cards. I,ll check out this hint too. I enjoy the game but thought it went rather fast, would of liked more challenges. What if any ,is there in the room I think on the 7th floor the room you go in and has 2 windows, nothing else it kind of reminds me of and elevator room and theirs another room with a picture but I can,t find the passwrod for it. I feel like there are things missing with the game.

So I just started playing and I am having a little trouble. I am at the part where I need to find Hogwarts a History, I got past the first set of prefects, but I can't get to the portrait to get to the restricted section. It's driving me crazy. How do I get past them? I have a few balloons and a few stink pellets. Please help.

Okay first, Ioka. The room with the windows contains the missing merit badge from the notice board. It also looks out into a secret passage. You can get into the secret passage by crawling under the bookcase directly left of the Fat Lady portrait.

Chatty, the best way to get past the second set of prefects is this. First wait for prefect one to turn his back, then move to your left. Creep forward along the bookcase and wait right before it ends. You will see a second prefect just in front of you. He won't see you, instead he'll turn to his right and walk away from you. Once his back is turned, go forward and then to your right. Now a bookcase will seperate you from prefect two's sight, and there will be a bookcase in front of you, seperating you from the third and final prefect. This one is a little tricky though. You will need to wait until his back is turned from you, and then creep up and over to your right. There is a small bookcase there, and again wait. When he turns away again, move around the bookcase you're hidding behind, keep to the right path, and head toward the back wall. The portrait you're looking for is in the middle of this wall.

Thanks for the hint. I also found a card behind the bookcase in the potion shop in the upper part of the store when you walk in. You have to use the Lumos to open it. I keep trying to start a new game to see what I missed.

HOW DO YOU GET PAST THE GARGOYLE IN THE DEFENCE AGAINTS THE DARK ARTS CLASS

Okay, all the gargoyles are about the same. First thing you should know is that you'll be using your dueling spell. The first move is his, he'll send a ball of power at you, and when it's halfway to you, hit the button you assigned to the dueling spell. < Can't think of it's name right now. > Right when the ball of power hit's the shield, release the button, and it will be reflected back to the gargoyle. Think of it as ping pong with your spell as the paddle. Now,
after the gargoyle is hit the first time, he'll start using his wings to hit the power ball at you, and then you'll need to repeat the process of reflecting it back. However, he tends to aim the ball just out of your reach at times, causing a shock wave to hit you. So you'll either need to dodge it, or move to intercept it.

Hey i am at the part past gettin history of hogwarts where you have to get past the bookcase that spits books i can't figure out what to do help please

This is on the tricky side. The spell you'll need for this task is flippendo. You want to hit the front of the bookcase with the spell over and over, driving him backwards. When he reaches the end of the floor indention, he'll fall over and die. Just remember to watch out for the books he spits at you.

k I got past the bookshelf, not where do I go?

I just started this game and I can't figure out for the life of me how to get into the lair to fight the whomping willow, I can see the door but I can't find a way to get to it

I'm doing the Transfiguration challenge where you have to jump around the whole room ... any tips for the last jump? Is there a way to make Harry go farther or to keep the ghosts away? I tried the Lumos spell and it doesn't work ... I keep falling on my face.

Okay, number one the restricted section. Now that the bookcase is out of the way, walk over to where he fell over, and look over. You'll see a box you can move. Push it along the track. When you have climb on and jump onto the bookcase it's now beside. When you're ready, stun the flapping book, and jump to the next bookcase. The two ghost are moveing around them so be careful of them. Continue jumping from one bookcase to the other until you come to the balcony. Leap onto the balcony, and there you will find a spell book. The spell you gain will get rid of the ectoplasma. After that you should be able to find your way out.

Okay number two, the whomping willow. I'm not sure exactly what you mean. However, if you're at the beginning of that level, then you have to work your way all the way through. If you mean one of the crawl spaces, you have to either flippendo them, or pull them up and throw them. The only door per say is the one after you've beaten the Willow tree, and that door can't be gotten to until you've defeated the tree.

Number three. The Transfiguration question. That last leap is a little complicated. One, make sure the ghosts are far enough away that they can't interfer mid-jump. Two, take your time, and most of all try to get the camera behind you so that you don't have to change the joysticks direction. Also, because of the beating you take on the platforms, make sure you are loaded with polyjuice.
