Payment

Well, obviously there will be a monthly subscription fee.. Probably around $15 a month. I'm just hoping you won't have to pay extra per month for having more than a certain amount of characters (can't remember what the limit was in FFXI).

Oh, wow. So if I wanted to resubscribe, I'd have to wait until the beginning of next month to play?

If they're going to try and compete with WoW, I don't think that will be the way to go this time around.

25AUD a month? WoW is only 40AUD for 60 days...

If I have to subscribe, that will lower the chances of me actually going out and buying it in the first place.

I mean, I've had WoW for two years now and I didn't bothered renewing my subscription after the second time.

I'd rather have the choice of playing online or by myself.

i own a copy of ffxi but didnt get the chance to actually play it. they keep saying my credit card is invalid, WTF is that!!!
@principality monster- they actually delete your character after missing a few monthly fees in a row??? wow that sure is stupid, i hope they dont do the same for ffxiv.

P.S. im getting the LCE version of final fantasy xiv in september 22nd.do you need a ****ing credit card to pay for your subscription or are they gonna have an available prepaid like WoW does???
