The Next Golden Sun, Remake Sequel or Spin Off

Um are you actually asking what we think or is this just a convenient post to get your thoughts out there? If you really have all these theories then make a Theories thread and if you really care then write a fanfic or something.

But to answer your question yes it quite obvious there is going to be a sequel to the whole thing and the 3DS seems a logical choice. I highly doubt that they will remake the original two seeing as how they are quite perfect as they are if dated. If they did remake them it would have to an almost direct remake with the glitches and exact level layout like they did with the Ocarina of Time 3D remake which is a carbon copy with better controls and graphics and sound.

No spin offs except for the cameos in other games like Isaac in Brawl.

The rest of what you said is merely YOUR hopes and dreams for the series which is fine but make up your mind about what you want to talk about.

Also Camelot makes there bread and butter making those sports games, quite simply (and sadly) Golden Sun is more of a side project that sol much better overseas than domestically like they wanted. Still the team at Camelot say that they thoroughly enjoy making the GS games so it logical that they would make a new one. And finally tie off the series. You have to remember that the first one came out in the early 20th century, and nearly a decade has passed since then. The players have grown up and some have moved on from gaming entirely and other to new games.

Fair enough but I said what I wanted to say, how the story goes is anyone's guess, but I highly doubt we will see an offspring of Felix because we don't know if he even has one or a baby momma. Also children from Saturos or Agatio is also unlikely as we didn't see anything resembling there families and they would have had to have been born before the end of the second game.

That being said seeing Prox or a Proxian seems likely and likewise a party member from there is also likely but probably only distantly related to any Proxian we know at best and a random one at worst. And the story attached to said Proxian would probably not be one of revenge given the peaceful nature that Prox was left in and its remote location and its bygones be bygones way that the main party left. Could be a possible half-breed given how Prox was more of a home to Felix than Vale.

Why would Sheba not have aged? Its highly likely that she, like the other heroes of Vale, age slower, but not stopped completely.

All that being said Matthew, Karis, and Tyrell with assuredly make a return. I see both Water siblings joining at some point too.

The rest are sketchy but I would LOVE to see Sveta return and she is unique enough to do so, plus it would fit story wise, being the wearer of the Umbra Gear and being intrinsically bonded with Matthew who is the Light, aside from her new queenly duties.

Aside from them though its anyone's guess who will appear as its possible that more than 2 of the same adept will appear. Amiti, Eoleo, and Himi are all possible but so is a Proxian for the new Fire Adept, Ivan/Sheba or possible children for Jupiter. Its entirely possible given that the next game is SUPPOSED to be the last, that all 8 original adepts will appear and kick ass as well.

I want to see some Colosso guys again, or their children. I want more than 8 party members to round out this cast and give me some variety while fighting the Biggest Bad at the end. Optional character you get by doing certain things (a la Fire Emblem or FFVII).

Time Travel would be cool and a much harder version of Dullahan cause he was a pussy in the last one. Love interests and parents and loveydovey Isaac and Jenna. A reunion between all the adepts and that 'Hey whats up, haven't seen you guys in awhile, you look great ' moments. I could go on but meh.

Also make a profile on Neoseeker guy that way you get alerts on forum posts and all kinds of things.

Well if you remember the story it turns out that Saturos and Menardi were actually good guys the whole time and YOU as Isaac were the bad guys. Yeah they were harsh and mean but ultimately just desperate to save their home. Also Blados and Chalis were both Dark adepts and were bad guys and acted almost exactly like the Proxians before them. And you may not understand their names but there will most befinitely be at least two more of them cause their names are more or less suits in a deck of cards.

They could, but like I said, they would have to change absolutely nothing about it except the the graphics and sound.
