Actually GSDD is not the end of the whole story.

It makes me feel like GS1. I'm sure we'll have to wait for years.

Nintendo Power Golden Sun: Dark Dawn Review

-"If you haven't played the older titles, certain callbacks and cameos obviously won't resonate as strongly, but you're never left confused."
-being able to gain new powers in the game (Psynergy) "allows the dungeons to evolve constantly and keeps you engaged in a way that most RPGs can't."
-the puzzles are at the perfect difficulty level
-battles are easy. Not because of the battle system itself, but because of the enemies. "...the enemies-including most bosses-are such pushovers."
-reviewer took 35 hours to complete the game and never saw a "Game Over" screen
-battle graphics are praised (animations, character models, etc.)
-3d graphics do a better job of telling the story than the 2d graphics from the GBA games

The score is a little lower than I would have expected, but it's consistent with what other sites have been saying about the game. Dark Dawn ends with a cliffhanger (yay!) which means there's a good chance this won't be the last GS.

I haven't heard anything about a password screen, but you can create a completed file like in the previous games. The only difference is you can actually continue to play Dark Dawn after you've beaten the final boss.

I highly doubt they'd take 5 years to make another. Like the guys said above me. It took them only about a year or two to make the massive land of The Lost Age. I really don't like reviews on this game. It's too awesome for them to be saying that only now it's getting awesome. It gets on my nerves.

I never knew that. I guess that kind of makes sense, but why wouldn't the first golden sun have the updated 2 map? Outside of the main areas, the map is just scrambled colors a short ways.

It's just an addition. Something to refine the game. It really doesn't matter.
