Multiplayer Hints & Tricks

Gotta be patient, running and gunning never seems to work in this game. Always be prepared for long assault rifle gunfights. Never hold down the fire button. Short bursts are BEST!

zzsilencezz Said it perfectly. You MUST control the engagement. Make it so that you have the 90% chance of winning, and they get the 10% chance, and especially not being able to shoot through walls is an advantage and disadvantage, so be careful!

Two main tips -

1 - Don't run and gun..... it doesn't work!!!

2 - Move in pairs! Teamwork is a must as most of the times i've died it's been when i've gone after one guy and been killed by his "buddy" coming in behind him.

Steer clear of the early drones. The quadracopter is a good team tool, but the other drone is pretty bad, considering you get half the points for a kill from it and it's pretty weak. You'll get 2/3 kills out of it at most, which will only equate to 210 BP. You could've got those kills from your gun and gotten 390BP out of it.

People need to adjust to this game. It's not like playing CoD or, to a lesser extent, Battlefield, where you can pick up and play. This is another Halo/Crysis type game that has it's on set of dynamics that take getting used to. Don't think you're great at it just because you can get Attack Dogs in every Black Ops game you play. That'll get you killed quick-style :L
