Walnuts just stop eating food and living indoors.

I recently quit smoking, so I figured the best way to stay quit was to never have any money. Hence the plastic crack.
Actual crack would probably be cheaper.

So here is some stuff that I've finished recently.

A kroot


I was testing colour schemes on this guy. Catachan green I thought was too dark, so now he's goblin green.

Shas'vre Vior'la Tash A'yarr (who is from a different Sept from the rest of my guys, since he's a monat tankhunter I decided he was from Vior'la to reflect his more hot-blooded nature. Also, he was the only survivor of an absolute curbstomp of a battle I had against a 'nid horde.)




Broadside Teamleader

I made a big deal about converting this guy, but my skills were supremely lacking and this was the best I could manage. The other two will have thier railguns mounted on thier shoulders.

And this is where the magic happens

walnuts - I tidied it up specially so I could take pictures of it. What you don't see, further below, well, you can just see the top of it, my 360 and extra controller, and the magazine graveyard featuring a couple years worth of 'gentleman's reading material'.

The computer desk is actually pretty nice for painting at. The keyboard slidey thing is good for keeping all my paints on, and actually painting on. The bend in the top surface is because my TV and VCR used to sit on it, and warped the wood.

I think I've got much better at posing the battlesuits. The first couple look pretty static compared to the ones I'm putting together now.
The Broadside is now undercoated with black, and I've started painting the railguns, which are those huge cannons on his arms. And I need to finish the tankhunter's base. I hate doing bases.
I also put together another shield drone and a marker drone from some bits I had left over.

When all the dudes are finished (I have a backlog and decided not to buy any more until what I already have is finished) I'll take a group shot of everything together.

Every WH40k player has a box for bits and they pile up quickly.

Man, your Ethereal looks awesome Scott Cee, done some great work on him. No idea what constitutes the Tau alphabet though, so maybe write 'Special Order #5' on his sashes?

I kid, I kid. You've done well man, looks like your painting skills have improved too compared to your earlier work, the Broadsides and Devilfish APC in particular look VERY well done. Colour me jealous!
