The screenshot shows a figure, which we're presuming to be series protagonist Jade. The in-game sighting of the sequel is the first since a video showcased its gameplay during 2009. Ancel had recently said that the gameplay of the title, which is being developed for next-gen consoles, is influenced by Mirror’s Edge: "We had this concept even before Mirror’s Edge launched. And we have a different approach to the first person perspective that Mirror’s Edge has. Prince of Persia and Assassin’s Creed are closer to what we have in mind with the control of the character in a third person perspective." Developer Ubisoft Montpellier, which is headed by Ancel, is currently working on the sequel to Rayman Origins, entitled Rayman Legends.
