Yeah i've done the last batting challenge.It took me 20/30 goes to do it.

I think you've got to be agressive to get the 48 runs and then just leave the balls you can.I.E not hitting your stumps.

Try to place your shots aswell,so if you misstime the ball it will miss the close catchers.

I manage to bowl to people out clean with Daril Styn, But I mostly get people out with catches.

Right, I've had a solid weekend playing this, and on the whole, it's a good game.

The graphics are crisp and the general set up of the game is good. It's a shame there's only two licensed teams and an even bigger shame that there's only the 10 international sides or whatever. No county teams or other sides. Also a shame theres no create a team feature. I like the Ashes, Test, ODI and 20 over tournaments, although there's not too much variation.

Gameplay wise, the controls are great to get to grips with and are a good reflection of the game. The game is a pleasure to play.

However, there are a few irritating things about it. The CPU runs itself out in daft circumstances sometimes, and also it's impossible to bowl anybody out. The ball always bounces over the wicket, that's of course if they miss it.

The CPU makes me lol when they try impossible runs, but i dont think its impossible to bowl someone out, just gotta time it right

Got the game and on first impressions it is very good, better than the other cricket games out there. However, with all cricket games, there are some frustrating aspects.

1. Stupid run outs from the CPU
2. 8/10 wickets that you take will probably be catches
3. The tailenders defend better than the best batsmen
4. Graphics are ok but would expect this from a PS2
5. Hard to hit the stumps, ive done it twice in about 8 innings, once with a pace bowler, once with spin.
6. Once you get used to it, its very easy, just got Australia out for 65 on normal difficulty.

I will keep playin it as it is good, its just a little annoying sometimes lol

It's annoying that nearly all your wickets are a result of daft run outs or catches. It doesnt make you feel like you've earnt it! I'd expect batsmen to be a little bit more conservative in test matches in particular.

Overall I'm really enjoying this game. Got to grips with batting on normal finally, managing to get 490 all out in a test innings earlier. Probably could of lasted longer too, but near the end I got bored and just smacked everything that came at me

Graphics serve the purpose fine, IMO there's no real need for anything better. Controls are probably the best thing about the game, very easy to get to grips with though you could argue that once you've got your timing right, it's quite easy to get high scores.

My main complaint would be the fact that it seems quite hard to clean bowl or trap batsmen for LBW. 99% of my wickets either come from a catch from an outswinger or a crazy runout (which is another thing wrong with the game, but that's been mentioned a lot anyway).

To be fair though, I was reluctant to spend £30 on this but I'm glad I did because it's really surprised me how addictive this game is.

Still haven't got the game because Tesco are fucking pricks who don't know how to re-stock.
