Nintendo isn't one for making new storylines every single game. i dont think so i grew up with nintendo and although id like to see new stuff in the pokemon games i just then say: what about what i grew up with and then ehh i liked it better the old way where i got to be this person or whatever so like the person before me why stop the story with a change also what if they loose money over a simple thing like that but it would be great to have a story line for adults to enjoy with things that lil kids cant get ya know?

Basically don't fix what doesn't need to be fixed correct? Pokemon still sells millions of copies with every new handheld game with the same plot. You can't complain only at Nintendo for doing something that loads of other people do as well ------------------- If you're reading this, you're seriously going back some pages the thread and therefore have way too much free time.

	Ehh, the game is geared toward mainly a younger audience. That being said, shiny/event collecting and beating the game without using JUST your starter requires a bump in age. Competitive battling is also a more mature "hobby". So, the storyline is really for little kids to place themselves in an ideal, imaginary world; once you beat the game, however, it takes much more skill and intuitive thinking to become successful

	You guys r being ridiculous, they are being as creative as ever Sure theres way more playing pokemon now a days- LUGIA,HO-OH,RESHIRAM,ZEKROM,KYUREM,LATIOS,LOTIOS,RAYQUAZA,MEW,ZAPDOS,MOLTRES,ARTICUNO,CELIBI,JIRACHI,FLYING FORM OF GIRATINA,DIALGA AND PALKIA CAN SORDA, GIRATINA and actually I don't mind half of those, really they are being as creative as ever is just u guys r growing up and watching transformers which has a different story for everything and freaking Harry potter in which every character has it's own bio and seeing games like twisted metal where there's blood and y'all are just getting board of the child-friendly pokemon
