I took a challenge and used only a Bayleef for playthrough.

I mostly took advantage of Bayleef's defenses and Toxic stalled, but then there was Koga. :[

I used Cut as my main offense, as well. There was much Full Restore use from the E4 members and much frustration from me. xD

i finished this whole game wit just a typhlosion n a pidgeot now both at level 100
since i only raised 2 pkmn its faster n easier to lvl up n u dont waste as much time training
i only used them for fighting i carried 4 hm pokemon with me to travel around n if i needed to heal pp/hp
i really only needed an aerodactyl n bibarel n "maybe" 1 extra pokemon for any extra hms aerodactyl n bibarel were my hm slaves for diamond n pearl cause there were 8 total hms n both can take care of that

w/ wise glasses/choicespecs/expertbelt/lifeorb/- eruption, lava plume or flamethrower, swift, shadow claw

pidgeot (adamant/jolly) (luxary ball or friend ball)
w/ soothe bell (always at every battle never let it die) switch to lifeorb or muscleband at challenging battles
steel wing, wing attack/aerial ace, return, ??/sand attack/u-turn

u can tell im the type to atk hard n fast i can always go for 1 hit kill specially wit eruption n return
