I found a shiny Tentacool level 19 I think, just a little off the shore from Olivine heading for Cianwood. I was rather surprised to say the least.

I'm pretty sure it ups the chances of getting shiny Pokémon from eggs when you breed Pokßmon from different regions (like English and Japanese, or any other combo of).

I'm glad I killed the shiny Tentacool now. Everyone keeps saying they are finding them in the same place I did.

My first shiny was in Gold version, it was a shiny cleffa

In Platinum, my first 'original' shiny encounter was on the fight route. Green Machamp.

There's no wild Machamps.

Found a shiny Parasect last noght in Cerulean Cave. That brings my official non-Red Gyarados shinies I've ever found in the wild up to...two. (the first was a Cascoon, I really liked that shiny form and regret evolving it, it's green instead of its purplish-red)

I bred Meganium 83 times until I got a shiny egg. It was a female, so I released it.
